Château Branaire Ducru Saint Julien 4cc. 2021 0,75l

Château Branaire-Ducru is a 4th Growth Saint-Julien estate with vines rooted in deep gravel soils close to the Gironde. The blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, and the estate vinifies in a state-of-the-art, fully gravity-flow winery. The bouquet reveals blackcurrant, plum and blackberry, layered with violet, coffee, pepper and liquorice notes. On the palate Branaire-Ducru is silky, precise and energetic, with fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity and a very classic, straight-lined structure. This elegant Saint-Julien drinks well in its youth but also has the depth to age gracefully.

Ageing in French oak gives the wine fine spice and supports its fresh, elegant structure.
