Château des Laurets Puisseguin Saint Emilion 2020 0,75l

Château des Laurets is located in Puisseguin Saint‑Emilion and forms part of the Edmond de Rothschild portfolio. The estate farms around 40 hectares of contiguous vineyards on clay‑limestone soils planted mainly with Merlot and about 20% Cabernet Franc. This cool, limestone‑rich terroir lends tension and depth to the wine. The bouquet reveals ripe red and dark fruits, cherry and plum with floral hints and gentle spice. On the palate Château des Laurets is full‑bodied and silky, with ripe tannins, lively acidity and a long, harmonious finish – a powerful yet elegant Saint‑Emilion from the Right Bank satellites.

Ageing in barriques and tank gives the concentrated fruit structure and finely oak-shaped depth.

Since the estate’s acquisition and renovation by Baron Benjamin de Rothschild in the 2000s, the focus has been on elevating precision while protecting the clay‑limestone identity....
