Château Gloria Saint Julien cb 2011 0,75l

Château Gloria is a well-known Cru Bourgeois in Saint-Julien, built up parcel by parcel from former classified crus. Its vineyards lie on gravelly, sandy soils with pockets of clay and are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The terroir provides both solid structure and appealing early drinkability. The bouquet shows blackcurrant, black cherry and plum with hints of smoke, spice and graphite. On the palate Château Gloria is medium-bodied, juicy and well-balanced, with supple ripe tannins, lively acidity and a charming, classic Saint-Julien finish.

Fourteen months of ageing in French oak support the fruity-spicy Saint-Julien character with a fine tannin framework.

The result was a true “creation”—without a classification title, yet built to classic Saint‑Julien standards....
