Château Troplong Mondot is a major Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Émilion, set on one of the highest hills of the appellation. Its vineyards form a large, contiguous block on clay-limestone soils planted with merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. The wine opens with intense aromas of black cherry, blackberry and plum, followed by violets, graphite, truffle notes and fine toasted spice.
