Clau de Nell Chenin Blanc Anjou 2021 0,75l

This Chenin Blanc presents Anjou in a remarkably pure and energetic style. The estate combines Loire identity with a Burgundian sense of precision, giving the wine a distinctive and highly appealing profile. Notes of white and yellow fruit, acacia blossom and a lightly buttery, toasted nuance shape the bouquet. On the palate, it is taut, fresh and mineral, yet also smooth and layered. Slow fermentation with native yeasts and extended lees ageing in seasoned Burgundy barrels bring depth and fine definition. It is a sophisticated white with tension, elegance and a persistent finish that immediately speaks to quality-minded customers.

The grape variety: Chenin Blanc

Chenin Blanc is a versatile white grape known for apple, quince, citrus, honeyed notes and vibrant acidity. It can be dry, sparkling, off-dry or sweet, with styles ranging from lean and mineral to rich and textured.

It pairs well with goat cheese, poultry, pork, seafood, spicy dishes and mature cheeses. Chenin Blanc is exciting because it combines freshness, ageing potential and a wide range of expressive styles. Chenin Blanc
