Clos Saint Robert Graves rouge 1995 0,75l

Clos Saint Robert Graves Rouge is produced at Château Saint-Robert south of Bordeaux, where warm gravel, sand and clay-limestone soils shape the style of the wines. The blend is merlot-led with cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc adding structure and spice. A temperate climate and the influence of the nearby Garonne river allow for slow ripening and refined tannins. The bouquet shows red and dark berries, cherry and cassis with hints of smoke, tobacco, sweet spice and graphite. On the palate Clos Saint Robert is medium-bodied, juicy and well balanced, offering supple tannins and fresh acidity. Its classic, gently smoky finish makes this Graves a versatile Bordeaux for poultry, beef, hearty stews and mature cheeses.

The documented 16-month maturation supports a fine, elegant Graves style with classic development.
