Estoras red from Esterházy brings together classic Burgenland grape varieties in an accessible yet characterful blend. The bouquet opens with dark cherry, blackberry and red berry aromas, supported by delicate spice and a hint of pepper. On the palate the wine is juicy and medium-bodied with fresh, mouth-watering acidity and fine, ripe tannins. A subtle mineral impression adds extra tension and prolongs the fruit-driven finish. Estoras is a versatile food companion and pairs particularly well with pasta, grilled poultry, pizza or relaxed bistro-style dishes.
Large oak casks and 500-litre casks round out the dark fruit while preserving a fresh, structured line.
