Grüner Veltliner Unendlich from F.X. Pichler is a rare cuvée sourced from the estate’s top sites and regarded as a true Gesamtkunstwerk of the Wachau. The nose opens with an intense spectrum of ripe yellow fruit, tropical notes, candied citrus peel and blossom honey, backed by smoky herbal spice and a hint of tobacco. On the palate the wine is concentrated and powerful, with enormous depth, creamy texture and perfectly integrated acidity. Salty minerality from the primary rock soils lends precision and length. The seemingly endless finish, combining spice, fruit and mineral tension, fully lives up to the wine’s name and invites pairing with ambitious haute cuisine.
