Le Clarence de Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan rouge 2021 0,75l
Le Clarence de Haut-Brion is the second wine of the legendary Château Haut-Brion in Pessac-Léognan. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot are aged in oak barrels to create a wine of notable depth. The bouquet shows dark berries, violets, graphite, damp earth and a touch of truffle. On the palate it is powerful, muscular and finely etched, with focused, persistent tannins. Energetic acidity keeps the rich fruit in balance and drives a long, complex finish. A serious second wine that shines alongside roast beef, game dishes or refined haute cuisine. Patience in the cellar will be rewarded with even greater complexity.
Around 18 months in French oak, with 28 % new barrels, adds fruit, richness and complexity.
