Lukas Markowitsch Rote Cuvée Superiore combines the natural power of Carnuntum with charm and easy drinkability. The blend of regional red varieties is carefully matured in the cellar and shows a deep ruby colour in the glass. The nose offers ripe cherry, dark berry fruit and fine herbal spice, underpinned by a hint of nougat. On the palate the wine is juicy, soft and velvety, with rounded tannins and refreshing acidity. Fruit takes centre stage while subtle spice recalls the warm gravel soils of the region. A long, smooth finish makes this cuvée a perfect partner for pasta, grilled meat or relaxed evenings with friends.
