Grappa di Barolo 15 anni from Marolo is a long‑aged grappa made from Nebbiolo pomace and refined in acacia and oak casks. Fifteen years of maturation create a deep golden hue and a complex bouquet of dried fruit, roasted notes, vanilla, sweet spice and a touch of tobacco. On the palate the grappa is very dense yet silky and balanced, delivering warm, persistent spice. Flavours of cocoa, candied fruit and fine wood resonate throughout the long finish. Despite its power, the overall impression remains elegant and precise. A superb after‑dinner spirit for enthusiasts, best savoured neat and unhurried.
