Welschriesling from Nehrer highlights the cool, refreshing character of the Leithaberg in a certified organic regional wine. Vines rooted in loam and loess soils around St. Georgen are farmed sustainably and harvested by hand. The wine shows a pale straw colour and aromas of crisp green apple, citrus and meadow herbs with a hint of blossom honey. On the palate it is light, juicy and precise, driven by lively yet finely integrated acidity. Pure fruit and cool minerality give the wine clarity and lift. A vibrant aperitif and an adaptable partner for salads, vegetable dishes, fish and other light cuisine.
