Syrah In Purezza from Baglio di Pianetto is sourced from high-altitude vineyards on mainly clay soils in northern Sicily, combining Mediterranean ripeness with cool tension. The bouquet reveals dark berries, blackberry and blueberry, alongside black pepper, violets and a touch of liquorice. On the palate the wine is dense and succulent, with ripe fruit, polished tannins and supportive acidity. Flavours of black cherry, spice and a hint of cocoa create depth. The texture is full yet balanced, leading to a long, savoury, fruit-laden finish. A flexible red to pair with grilled meats, lamb, hearty stews and mature cheeses.
