Strehn Der Elefant im Porzellanladen Rosé is the characterful flagship wine in the estate’s rosé line-up. Inspired by powerful, barrel-aged rosés from southern France, this Blaufränkisch rosé spends several months in wooden casks. In the glass it shows a medium salmon hue with bright highlights. The bouquet is highly expressive with blood orange, vineyard peach, red berries, bourbon vanilla and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and creamy yet precise, with dense fruit, fine oak spice and a salty, mineral finish. It is a complex food rosé that pairs beautifully with beef tartare, hearty charcuterie, Asian-inspired dishes or imaginative grilled cuisine and truly redefines what rosé can be.

Ageing in small wooden casks gives the rosé creamy texture, fine spice and extra depth.
