Wente Beyer Ranch Zinfandel comes from sun‑drenched sites in California’s Livermore Valley and shows the grape variety at its rich, fruit‑driven best. On the nose ripe blackberries, dark cherries and figs mingle with notes of vanilla, cocoa and gentle oak spice. On the palate this Zinfandel is full‑bodied and rounded, with supple tannins and juicy berry fruit. Warm spices, a hint of liquorice and a touch of smokiness float over the dense core of fruit and lead into a velvety finish. The harmonious structure makes it easy to enjoy while still offering plenty of depth. A characterful Californian red that pairs beautifully with barbecue, spare ribs, spicy braised dishes or mature hard cheeses.

Long stainless steel tank ageing preserves dark fruit and lets spice and juicy fullness come through clearly.
