M.Chapoutier Châteauneuf du Pape BLANC La Bernardine BIO 2024 0,75l
| Brand | M.Chapoutier |
| Region | Europe - France - Rhône Valley - Southern Rhône |
| Category | Wines - White wine |
| M. Chapoutier La Bernardine Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is crafted mainly from clairette and grenache blanc, complemented by varieties such as grenache gris and roussanne. The grapes, grown on rolled pebbles, sand and safre over clay, are harvested by hand and fermented largely in large wooden vessels. The wine shows a brilliant golden colour and aromas of vine blossom, lily, stone fruit and subtle empyreumatic notes. On the palate it is fresh, creamy and finely balanced, with flavours of candied citrus, ripe pear and hints of honey. A long, mineral and slightly salty finish gives elegance and gastronomic appeal. It pairs beautifully with scallops, refined fish dishes, poultry and delicate vegetable cuisine. | |
