Château Angludet Margaux 2023 0,75l

Château Angludet sits in the heart of Margaux with around 32 hectares of vines on deep gravel soils close to the Gironde. The vineyard is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, which together shape the estate’s refined, firmly structured style. After fermentation the wine spends about twelve months in oak barrels and is bottled without filtration. The bouquet reveals cassis, ripe plum, violets and dried herbs, framed by cedar wood and gentle spice. On the palate Château Angludet is medium to full-bodied, juicy and elegant, with polished tannins, fresh acidity and a harmonious, savoury finish – a classic Margaux for entrecôte, lamb and flavourful braised dishes.

Ageing in barrels and amphorae combines clear structure with calm and preserves fresh tension.

Château Angludet

In the Margaux appellation on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, Château Angludet is a study in quiet refinement, led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Petit Verdot in support. Under the Sichel family’s stewardship, gravelly soils store heat and drain fast, while Atlantic airflow keeps the vineyard’s pace measured....

The grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is a world-famous red grape producing dark, structured wines with cassis, blackberry, cedar, firm tannins and ageing potential.

The variety is exciting because it combines power with recognisable character. Pair Cabernet Sauvignon with steak, roast beef, lamb, venison, burgers, mushrooms and hard cheeses. Cabernet Sauvignon
