Château Durfort-Vivens is a Second Growth Margaux estate and one of the leading biodynamic properties in the Médoc. Its 55 hectares of vines are rooted in deep gravel soils and planted predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Certified organic and biodynamic, the vineyard work highlights the finesse of the Margaux terroir. The nose offers red and black berries, cassis and violets with delicate herbal and spicy nuances. On the palate Durfort-Vivens is silky and vibrant, with fine-grained tannins, lifted freshness and a long, perfumed finish that is very true to Margaux.
