Ch.de Bel Air Lalande de Pomerol – A True Delight from Libournais
Château de Bel-Air is located in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation just north of Pomerol and is part of the Jean‑Pierre Moueix portfolio. Its 15 hectares of vines are planted with 73% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon on Quaternary gravel over clay with an iron‑rich subsoil. This terroir gives a supple, dark‑fruited wine with flavours of cherry, plum and cassis wrapped in discreet spice. On the palate Château de Bel‑Air is smooth yet firmly built, with polished tannins, lively freshness and an elegant, slightly mineral finish – a charming, characterful Right Bank Bordeaux.
