Château Lestage Simon Haut Médoc cb 2019 0,75l

Château Lestage Simon lies in the northern Haut‑Médoc near Saint‑Seurin‑de‑Cadourne, just beyond the borders of Pauillac and Saint‑Estèphe. Around 34–40 hectares of vines grow on clay‑limestone soils with gravel on top, becoming sandier towards the Gironde. A high share of Merlot, completed by Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, has earned this Cru Bourgeois the nickname “little Pomerol of the Médoc”. The estate is certified for high environmental standards and benefits from the guidance of consultant Michel Rolland. In the glass Lestage Simon offers dark berries, plum and gentle spice with subtle oak. On the palate it is juicy, medium‑bodied and well balanced, with supple tannins and excellent value for money.

Twelve months of barrique ageing support the fresh fruit and give this Haut-Médoc fine structure.
