Château Palmer is one of the great names in Margaux and, as a 3ème Grand Cru Classé, is famed for its sensual yet finely structured style. Biodynamically farmed vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot produce a dense but supremely elegant wine. The nose offers cassis, plum and violet with hints of cigar box, dried herbs and dark chocolate. On the palate it feels silky, precise and long, with ripe fruit, polished tannins and refreshing acidity. Subtle smoky and spicy notes linger on the finish, making it a perfect companion for lamb, beef or game and a Margaux for truly special occasions.
Long maturation in wooden casks gives the wine depth and a silky, elegant structure.
