Château Pavie Macquin Saint Emilion gcc. 2016 0,75l

Château Pavie Macquin is a Premier Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Émilion and a reference for the limestone-influenced plateau style. The blend is dominated by Merlot with Cabernet Franc and a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon, giving concentrated yet vibrant fruit. Raspberry, blackberry, cherry and violets appear on the nose, joined by spice, tobacco and sandalwood. On the palate the wine is energetic, juicy and firmly structured, with fine tannins and pronounced mineral drive. Its long, perfumed finish makes it an excellent choice for refined meat dishes, game, mushroom risotto and aged cheeses.

That spirit of reconstruction still guides the estate, raised to Premier Grand Cru Classé status in 2006....
