Château Smith Haut Lafitte Pessac-Léognan rouge gcc. 2021 0,375l

Château Smith Haut Lafitte Rouge is a Grand Cru Classé de Graves in Pessac-Léognan, renowned for its modern yet refined style. Sustainably and partly biodynamically farmed vineyards are planted mainly with cabernet sauvignon along with merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot. The nose offers blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry, layered with licorice, graphite, smoke, cedar and subtle spice. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, silky and deep, with concentrated fruit, ripe tannins and vibrant acidity. The long, smoky and mineral finish makes it an impressive companion for fine meat dishes, game, grilled vegetables and contemporary gastronomy.

18 months of barrique ageing on lees gives the 2021 vintage structure, freshness and a finely integrated oak frame.

Château Smith Haut Lafitte
