Domaine Cauhapé Jurançon sec Chant des Vignes 2020 0,75l

Chant des Vignes from Domaine Cauhapé is a dry Jurançon blending gros manseng with the rare local variety camaralet for an intensely aromatic style. Vines grow on sunny, south-facing slopes with clay-limestone soils moderated by cool nights. The nose is expressive, combining citrus, exotic fruit and white flowers with hints of white pepper, fennel and gentle spice. On the palate Chant des Vignes is fresh, juicy and slightly creamy, showing ripe fruit and lively yet well-integrated acidity. The wine has a full, flavoursome structure underscored by clear mineral notes. It is an original white that pairs beautifully with fish, seafood, flavourful starters and subtly spicy dishes.

The wine is aged on fine lees in stainless steel to preserve fruit and aromatic clarity.

The grape variety: Gros Manseng

Gros Manseng is a South West French white grape with citrus, quince, tropical fruit and vivid acidity. It can make dry, off-dry and sweet wines.
