Granito del Cadalso Las Umbrías echoes the style of the finest single-vineyard Garnachas from the Sierra de Gredos. Old vines rooted in high-altitude, cool sites on sandy, granitic soils yield small, intensely flavoured berries. Gentle ageing in large oak casks preserves the wine’s delicate frame. The bouquet is highly aromatic, with rose petals, red cherry, pomegranate, blood orange and wild Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is silky, precise and at the same time forceful, with very fine, sweet-edged tannins and vibrant acidity. A long, mineral finish underlines its elegant, almost weightless character. An intricate, spicy Gredos Garnacha for demanding palates.

Maturation in partly new French barriques combines dark fruit with spicy depth and taut structure.
