Silvia Heinrich Cupido “jeu amoureux” is a Blaufränkisch selected from the estate’s finest barrels and produced only in outstanding vintages. Its name refers to the myth of Venus and Adonis and hints at the wine’s sensual, seductive style. The bouquet is complex, with blackberry, cassis and ripe cherry layered with cocoa, kumquat and fine savoury spice. On the palate Cupido is full-bodied, dense and tightly knit, showing silky, ripe tannins and impressive depth. The fruit unfolds in many layers and flows into a long, mineral and spicy finish that lingers for minutes. This is an iconic red for refined meat dishes, game and truly special occasions.

Four years in small oak barrels give the Blaufränkisch maturity, harmony and fine structure.
