Aumann Harterberg Reserve 2022 0,75l

Aumann Harterberg Reserve is a powerful red blend from Austria’s Thermenregion, named after the Harterberg vineyard. Aged in barriques, it brings together ripe dark berries, black cherry and fine toasted notes. The bouquet shows cassis, blackberry, hints of chocolate and savoury spice. On the palate the wine is dense and structured yet silky, with ripe tannins and well-integrated acidity. The long finish echoes dark fruit, spice and subtle oak. A characterful reserve cuvée that is enjoyable now but also offers several years of cellaring potential.

On the wine shop pages those soils become explicit cues: “Steinfeld (gravel)” here, “loamy sand” there—practical markers of place. Craft shows up in élevage choices rather than slogans, for example St....
