Château Haut Bergey Pessac-Léognan rouge 2021 0,75l

Château Haut-Bergey lies in the heart of Léognan and farms around 40 hectares on sandy-gravel soils with a clay subsoil. The estate is fully certified organic and biodynamic and is known for a fruit-forward, pure style of Pessac-Léognan. The red wine is based on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with Cabernet Franc and other classic Bordeaux grapes in the blend. The bouquet reveals ripe red and black fruits, cherry and plum with smoky, herbal and gently oaky notes. On the palate Haut-Bergey is juicy and well balanced, with fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity and an elegant, fruit-driven finish that captures its modern, precise character.

Fourteen months in large casks, 300-litre barrels and terracotta amphorae give the wine precision, spice and tension.
