Opus Eximium from Gesellmann is a classic Mittelburgenland cuvée of Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent and Zweigelt. The vines grow in the warm, pannonian climate around Deutschkreutz and are farmed organically. The bouquet offers dark berries, sour cherry, violets and herbal spice with discreet toasted notes. On the palate the wine is dense and juicy yet polished, with ripe, well‑integrated tannins. Generous fruit, savoury depth and a fresh, balanced structure come together in a very harmonious style. A versatile red with a strong sense of place that pairs well with roasts, hearty pasta or Mediterranean dishes.
